Privacy Policy
DeepDive is a free browser submarine game set in the ocean depths. This policy describes what data surfaces when you play.
1. Information We Collect
Like the ocean floor, your data footprint here is minimal. We may receive:
- Technical request data your browser sends automatically — IP address, browser type, operating system, and referrer URL.
- Your personal dive record (best score), kept only in your browser's local storage and never transmitted to any server.
- Anonymous session counts used to measure how many players explore the reef.
2. How We Use Information
Data is used only to maintain game servers, fix technical issues, and understand overall dive statistics. No advertising, no profiling, no data sales.
3. Local Storage
Your best dive depth is stored locally in your browser. It disappears when you clear browser data. We have no copy of it.
4. Third-Party Services
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts via a standard browser request. No other external services receive your data.
5. Children's Privacy
DeepDive contains no violent content, no gambling mechanics, and no in-app purchases. It is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
6. Data Retention
Server log files, if any, are kept for a limited operational period and then deleted. Locally stored gameplay data is on your device only and subject to your own browser settings.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold. Because we collect minimal data, fulfilling such requests may have limited scope in practice.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical measures to protect any data we handle. No internet transmission method is fully secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
Policy updates are marked with a new date above. Continued play constitutes acceptance.
